Vista Alegre are known for their collaborations with both well established and up and coming designers. The Ornament collection was designed by French designer Sam Baron who continually reinterprets the traditional methods of construction, questioning in his work the usefulness of current production materials. Working as an independent designer and consultant, Baron has worked for brands such as Louis Vuitton and L’Oreal. Now working with Vista Alegre Ornament was inspired by the ceilings of the Vista Alegre Palace, surprising with its sophistication and subtlety of the white relief on the white pieces, uniting classical architecture and contemporary design.
