The Amazonia Collection is Vista Alegre’s collaboration with Ecoarts Amazonia, an environmental non-profit based in Brazil. The collection features techniques such as sculpting and hand-painting, that brings together the work of Vista Alegre’s sister brands Casa Alegre and Bordallo Pinheiro. The designs are inspired by the book “Viagens Philosophicas” (Philosophical Voyages) by the naturalist Alexandre Rodrigues Ferreira, as well as by the fauna, flora and people of the Amazon rainforest.
