The Gárgulas set is inspired by the sculptural work designed by José Aurelio for the building of the Arquivo Nacional da Torre do Tombo (National Archives of Torre do Tombo).

Monumental sculptures carved in monolithic cubes of limestone, each weighing 30 tons, distributed by the facades of the building into two groups of four.

The first two sculptures of this collection are The Old, the Young and Death and The Good and the Evill, part of a first phase called “Os Fautores da História”.
